Terms of Service
This page is general information about our Service, not legal advice to you.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Réidh application (the “Service”), operated by Appify Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating a practice account or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you accept on behalf of an accountancy practice, you confirm you are authorised to bind that practice. The Service is intended for use by businesses, not consumers.
1. The Service
The Service helps accountancy practices chase missing supplier invoices and records: importing bank or aged-supplier data, issuing secure client portals, sending reminder emails on your behalf, and using AI assistance to read and check uploaded documents. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Accounts and your team
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account and those of the users you invite.
- You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Your responsibilities for client data
You decide which clients and data you load into the Service. You are the controller of that personal data; you confirm that you have a lawful basis to process the personal data of your clients and their contacts, that your instructions to us (including sending reminder emails) are lawful, and that you will give those individuals the privacy information they are entitled to. Our processing of that data on your behalf is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by uploading unlawful content, attempting to breach security or access controls, interfering with other practices’ data, or using the Service to send communications you are not authorised to send. Reminder emails must relate to your legitimate business with your clients and must not be used for unsolicited marketing.
5. Third-party processing
The Service relies on third-party providers — for hosting and database, document storage, email delivery, and AI-assisted document extraction. The current list, with their roles and locations, is set out in our Data Processing Agreement.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update these Terms; we will notify you of material changes, and your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
7. Fees
Fees are as set out in your subscription or order. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of VAT, which we charge where applicable. We may change fees for future billing periods on reasonable notice.
8. Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, data handling follows the Data Processing Agreement and our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
